1 Before You Start; Hinawi and QuickBooks Software Installation NOTE: Hinawi and QuickBooks Software Installation is very easy and User friendly. Before you start performing the Installation process, kindly read and understand the Installation System requirements document (Visit Programs will be installed on the server and the Client Computers depending on the number of license Purchased. Moreover, in case there is no server, the company can save data on any other computer and will therefore be considered as the temporary server. Later, data will be transferred when the new server is ready. Also, Client s user must have Power Accession on this computer [Client computers must have full access to the file location] Data Security must be Customer responsibility; Better make backup on external drive as per we scheduled on the Server. System Requirements System and Installation Requirements for Hinawi Software & QuickBooks Accounting Software Windows 10, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed 1 Windows 8.1 (Update 1) all editions including 64-bit, natively installed Windows 7 SP1 all editions including 64-bit, natively installed Windows Server 2016 Windows Server 2012 R2 Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard and Essentials Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Database Servers Windows: Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2011 SP1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows 10, Windows 8.1 (update 1) or Windows 7 SP1 (Enterprise and Professional editions only), natively installed. Browser Requirement Internet Explorer 11

2 Hardware and Operating system requirements (client and server) Processor 2.4 GHz minimum 4GB minimum, 8GB Recommended Server RAM Requirements RAM Disk space Windows Optical Drive Screen Resolution 1-5 Users: 8GB RAM 10 Users: 12GB RAM 15 Users: 16GB RAM 20 Users: 20+GB RAM 2.5GB of disk space (additional required for data files) Additional software: 60MB for Microsoft.NET 4.6 Runtime, provided on the QuickBooks CD Additional requirements for Intuit Data Protect in QuickBooks Connected Services offerings (applies to US only) Require minimum 4.0GB RAM Twice the size of the largest file set to back up + 100MB or twice the size to restore. The space is only required from the work folder LocalApplicationData+"Intuit\Intuit Data Protect" Note: Storing a large.qbw data file on an SSD will greatly speed up performance and is encouraged. US version of Windows (if using US QuickBooks software), Canadian version of Windows (if using Canadian QuickBooks software) Regional settings are supported when set to English (United States/Canada) with keyboard setting to US/CA only Administrator rights required for the server computer when hosting Multi-User access Natively installed - means its was installed on a particular system or environment that it was designed for. This also means it doesn't need to run in a virtual environment or emulation software. 4X DVD-ROM drive required for CD installations (unless QuickBooks is downloaded from Intuit server) Display optimized for 1280 x 1024 screen resolution or higher with up to 2 Extended monitors Best optimized for Default DPI setting for a given computer. Internet access is required

3 Tips before you start:- Server: A computer where the data must be located, here we will install SQL to store the Hinawi Software data. Also, there must be a folder in the server which has to be shared over network. Furthermore, Hinawi Software and QuickBooks user must have full (read / write permission on this folder). The folder structure must be as explained and demonstrated below: Folder structure Explorer Computer (Main Folder) Hinawi Software (Sub Folder) Data (a folder where the SQL database must be created, SQL server must have full read and write permission on this folder) Backup (a folder where the SQL database backup must be stored, Hinawi software has an Auto Backup program, which will take database backup either daily or weekly depending on what the company prefers). Package / Settings (a folder where the Hinawi software package must be stored) QuickBooks (Folder) QB Data (a folder where the QuickBooks file must be stored, all the QuickBooks and Hinawi Software users must have read and write permission on this folder) QB Back up (a folder where the QuickBooks backup must be stored) QB Package / Settings (a folder where the QuickBooks setup file must be stored) Please refer to the Screenshot below:

5 Installation on Server In the server; We need to Install SQL server (for Hinawi Software database), QuickBooks & Hinawi Software. Therefore, there must be some important procedures done before we start the installation process. What are they? Kindly follow the steps listed below along with their Screenshots: 1. User Control Settings Must be set to NEVER NOTIFY MODE. To do this, kindly go to CONTROL PANEL - USER ACCOUNTS & CLICK ON CHANGE USER ACCOUNT CONTROL SETTINGS.

Arabic must be installed in the server, and the System locale must be Arabic (U.A.E) Theoretically, this is done through the following path: Go to Control Panel, then Click on Region and language. How is this performed practically? Kindly follow the Screenshots below. The Screenshots displayed below will enable you to be acknowledged of the changes required regarding Region and Language Settings.

7 Now, restart your computer to update the changes you have made in the Computer.

10 4. Install QuickBooks from your QuickBooks CD and fill the License Key and Product No as it has been given to you on the CD. 5. Hinawi Software Installation

11 After Installing Hinawi Software, kindly provide full read and write permission for the user s computer to the following folders: C:\Windows\System32 & C:\Windows\SystemWOW64 How to check whether you have given correct permission on the folder? Open a notepad; try to save this notepad file on the system 32, if it gives you a message about permission, this means that the permission is not enough. Simply, the user should be able to save the notepad file to this folder without being asked with any kind of message.

12 Now Give Permission on the Registry, For this Open RegEdit; Refer to the Screenshot below:

14 windows firewall must be switched off. Now Go to this folder: C:\program files\explorer Computer\Hinawi ERP (in 64-bit computer, you can find this application path under program files (x86), after that, provide the same read and write permission for the user as mentioned above) If an Antivirus is blocking the software, it must be disabled. You must open a new company file on QuickBooks and configure it with Hinawi Software. For further details, Go to: All documents as PDF format are available in the official website. Install Team viewer version 10.0 must be Installed on the Customer Side to get remote support from Us.

15 How to Install Team viewer Version 10.0; Kindly refer the steps below Go to Click on VERSION 10.X displayed on the right side and then Click on Team Viewer displayed under Windows. Once the setup downloaded completed, Click on it and Install. Select Personal / non Commercial use When you finish installation, you can find the team viewer Icon on your desktop Run the team viewer you can find your ID and password on the left hand side Give this to the User whom you need to Connect to your PC
